Privacy policy

This policy explains, in simple and concrete language, how Team Rastrealo handles information related to the Rastrealo app and the official site rastrealo.app.

Last updated: April 4, 2026

1. Scope of this policy

This policy describes how privacy works in the Rastrealo Android app and on the official website rastrealo.app. It applies to normal product use, public help pages and contacts you initiate with Team Rastrealo.

The goal of this document is to help you understand which data stays only on your device, which data may go to third parties when a feature needs it and what control you have over that information.

2. Who publishes this policy

This policy is published by Team Rastrealo. If you have privacy questions or questions about this document, you can write to us at [email protected].

Rastrealo does not require you to create a traditional account to start using the core experience. Even so, some specific features do depend on external services, such as subscriptions, technical diagnostics or error reporting when those integrations are active.

3. What the app stores on your device

Rastrealo is designed as a local-first app. The app stores on your device the trackers you create, detected history, tracker configuration, your preferences and other data needed for the core experience to work.

That can include the page URL you choose to follow, the tracker name, the latest detected value, change history, folders, notification settings and technical context used to try to find the same value again later.

  • Most of your trackers, history and preferences live locally on the device where you use the app.
  • That local storage exists so you can follow visible values, review past changes and keep your setup without depending on a mandatory account.
  • If you delete local data or uninstall the app without exporting or backing up first, that information may be lost on that device.

4. Information you share directly with us

If you write to [email protected] or start a support draft from inside the app, we may receive the information you choose to send us, such as your message, your email address and the technical context you share to explain a problem.

We use that information only to respond, investigate incidents, guide support and improve the product when a real case needs deeper understanding. If you prefer not to share diagnostics, you can send a normal email without those details.

5. Third-party services that may be involved

Even though the main Rastrealo experience lives on your device, the app does use third-party services in specific situations. Those services may receive the minimum information needed to offer purchases, verify a subscription, measure technical events or register errors when that integration is configured.

  • Google Play and Google Play Billing for purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds under Google Play Store policies.
  • RevenueCat to manage Pro subscription status and synchronize the commercial information needed for that function.
  • Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics in builds where that integration is configured, for technical events, diagnostics and error reporting.
  • Third-party websites that you choose to open or check from inside the app may apply their own practices, policies and technical logging.

6. Technical identifiers and diagnostic data

For monetization, the app may create and store an internal technical identifier called appUserId. That identifier helps keep subscription state without forcing you to create a traditional account.

If you start contact from the support screen or share a diagnostic draft, that message may include helpful information such as app version, build type, language, device model, Android version, store status and the monetization appUserId. In builds with active telemetry, technical events or errors may also be recorded to maintain and improve product stability.

7. Device permissions and system access

Rastrealo may ask for permissions or system access to work better. The goal is to allow page checks, background work and alerts.

When a permission or system setting is not available, some features may become limited. For example, without notifications enabled the app may still detect changes but it may not alert you in the same way.

8. Payments, subscriptions and purchases

If you buy Rastrealo Pro, the purchase, renewal, cancellation and any possible refund are handled through Google Play Store and the commercial services connected to that purchase. Team Rastrealo does not manually process payments outside those channels in this policy.

The app only needs the minimum commercial and technical information required to verify your subscription status and unlock the corresponding features on your device.

9. Retention, export, backup, restore and deletion

Because the core experience is local, much of the information stays on your device until you change it, export it, replace it, delete data or uninstall the app.

Depending on your plan, you can export trackers in formats such as JSON or CSV and also create backups to restore your setup later. The app also includes options to clear cache, clear URL history or delete local data.

10. Third-party websites and external content

Rastrealo may open third-party pages inside the app or link to external services such as Google Play. When you visit a third-party page, that page may apply its own policies, technologies, technical logging and terms of use.

Team Rastrealo does not control the content or privacy policies of those third parties, and we recommend reviewing them directly when the site or service makes that important.

11. General audience

Rastrealo is an app for general audiences. We do not set a specific minimum age to use it.

That said, we recommend responsible supervision of device use and related purchases whenever appropriate.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, the website or the way we use external integrations changes.

The version published on this site is the current reference. When we publish changes, we will also update the last updated date on this page.
